Contract duration- 2 Years

We are seeking a Data Scientist to:

Lead research, development, and implementation of Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) to support secure and responsible data sharing across government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research & Development: Conduct experiments, develop proof-of-concepts, and translate academic findings into practical PET solutions.
• Agency Collaboration: Partner with agencies to understand privacy needs, design pilot programmes, gather feedback, and support adoption.
• Solution Development: Architect scalable, end-to-end PET solutions and create frameworks for government-wide implementation.
• Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to publications, best practices, and international engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics or a related field, with at least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Core Data Science & ML skillset

1. Strong foundation in machine learning, with hands-on experience in model development and experimentation.
2. Strong programming proficiency in Python and extensive experience with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
3. Ability to analyze model behavior, diagnose training issues, and design experiments to optimise performance and reliability
