Our Fulfilment Team focuses on advancing scalable machine learning and experimentation frameworks that power marketplace decisions across Grab. By leveraging cutting-edge analytics and statistical methods, we continuously optimize how we shape our drivers and passengers to improve network efficiency and throughput.
Get to Know the Role
In this role, you will work closely with product managers, data scientists, engineers and product designers to define hypotheses, design experiments, and deeply understand user needs, pain points, and business goals.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the innovation of real-world AI within our transport network, contributing significantly to influencing decisions on the development and deployment of Autonomous Vehicles from the ground up. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse challenges and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, with a focus on optimizing network efficiency, enhancing passenger experience, ensuring safety, and streamlining operations - ultimately shaping the future of mobility from zero to one.
You will act as a strategic partner throughout the product development lifecycle - offering analytical support from ideation to execution-and help prioritize features through data-driven insights. You will be based in Singapore and reporting to a Product Analytics Manager.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Experimentation: Design and run A/B tests and quasi-experiments to evaluate the impact of product changes on key metrics like engagement, retention, and conversion.
Modeling and Optimization: Build machine learning and optimization models to understand the impact of autonomous vehicles (AV), and optimize AV utilization and efficiency.
Define Metrics and Targets: Develop and implement metrics and targets to measure marketplace efficiency and reliability.
Data Insights: Generate data-driven insights to prioritize initiatives and influence the product roadmap.
This involves analytics across the huge spectrum of:
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences specifically for AV users.
Experimental Design: Design experiments and inference models to rigorously measure the impact of AV initiatives.

This involves analytics across the huge spectrum of:
- Understanding computer vision readiness and interactions with operational domains (e.g. areas, routes, conditions)
- Understanding in-car experiences with vehicle telematics, IoT devices and passenger behaviour & sentiment
- Marketplace optimisations such as uncovering performance of our time and spatial positioning algorithms to ensure our AVs contribute effectively to the network
- Operational excellence and trade-offs to maximise uptime, utilisation and efficiency of our supply units
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences specifically for AV users.
Experimental Design: Design experiments and inference models to rigorously measure the impact of AV initiatives.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in the product or operational analytics space.
- You are proficient in AI, SQL and Python for handling large datasets.
- You have advanced knowledge in statistical methodologies and machine learning to uncover insights. You can also apply these techniques to large datasets in complex unstructured problem spaces.
- You have experience designing and implementing A/B tests and other experiment frameworks. You can analyse results to derive actionable insights to drive business decisions and outcomes.
- You have deep understanding in designing metric suites that holistically measure product performance and experience in creating dashboards using tools like Tableau or PowerBI for product monitoring and informed decision-making.
