About the Role

The IT Network Security Engineer is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance and security protection of the company's network and IT systems. The role ensures stable and secure operation of network infrastructure, supports IT equipment and end-user devices, performs troubleshooting and incident response, and implements network and system security controls. This position plays a key role in maintaining business continuity, reducing system downtime, and ensuring a reliable and compliant office IT environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain office network equipment including core switches, firewalls, wireless systems and intrusion detection devices
• Configure, test and update network policies and device settings according to operational and security requirements
• Perform regular log backups and inspections of network equipment to ensure traceability and audit readiness
• Diagnose and resolve network faults in a timely manner to maintain uninterrupted connectivity and service availability
• Conduct network security monitoring and prepare audit reports on abnormal activities and security events
• Prepare and maintain network operation plans, standard procedures and emergency response documentation
• Provide IT support for office equipment such as laptops, desktops, printers and related software
• Respond to and resolve end-user technical issues including software errors, hardware failures and system performance problems
• Monitor the performance and availability of IT systems such as servers, databases and corporate applications
• Perform system fault recovery and conduct root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence
• Support IT security compliance work, including vulnerability remediation, security hardening and performance optimization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operation, maintenance or network administration
• CCNA certification required; CCIE or ITIL certification is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, IPS, switches, wireless devices and commonly used network security tools
• Hands-on experience with Windows/macOS deployment, device troubleshooting and end-user support
• Experience in server/database monitoring, fault diagnosis and performance tuning
• Strong communication and documentation skills for reporting, SOP writing and incident summaries
• Proficient in written and spoken English for technical communication and documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to system or security incidents
