Reviews technical specifications, drawings, procedures, and standard pertaining to the project requirements
Prepares and reviews the project quality documents, procedure, ITP
Reviews drawings, documents & weekly updated drawing register from document controller and distribute to project QA personnel
Administers the project internal quality audit to ensure compliance with the project quality plan
Monitors the inspection and documentation activities of QA Inspector to ensure complain with inspection test plan and project quality requirements
Resolves quality related issues arising from sub-contractor and in-house production
Performs E&I related Equipment and material inspection during receiving meet the purchase specifications
Ensures protection and preservation of Electrical & Instrument system
Ensures updates on electrical completion and mechanical completion progress at the project database
Liaises with owners, class surveyors and government bodies pertaining to project requirements
Coordinates the testing/ commissioning requirements with Engineering, Project Manager, QA Department, and vendors
Reports non-conformance and issues improvement note, where necessary
Performs any other assigned duties and responsibilities
Bachelor's Degree or diploma in Naval Architecture / Marine and Offshore / Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplines
API 570. CWSIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector
At least 3 years of relevant Quality Assurance working experience, preferably in the offshore and marine industry
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Familiar with loop test, hi pot test, mechanical completion checks ITR
