Position: Network Engineer

Experience on job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments/tasks. Good understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job. Works on assignments that are moderate & complex in nature and require adequate problem resolution skills and independent judgment. Allocates own time efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Second/third level Network operations support responsible to design, implement and maintain LAN and Wan network.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Network related fault
• Design and implement network projects
• Change review and impact analysis for Network changes
• Planning future improvement and suggesting solutions to reduce network faults
• Plan, priorities and execute planned maintenance on network to support Network growth, address software/hardware defects
• Manage and monitor network capacity through proactive approach
• Service level improvement on Network through design change, monitoring improvement and capacity management
• Monitor and resolve chronic issues related to Network.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
• To perform compliance analysis for firewall requests and implement them accordingly.
• To have hands on experience on Palo Alto firewall / IPS, Cisco routers, switches.
• To have strong troubleshooting skills on F5 LTM. Upgrading F5 Load balancers
• Prepare SOP documents.
• To have understanding on AWS cloud. Hands-on experience is preferred.
• IT service management. Process management
• Adhoc task based on operational/project requirement.
• Timely resolution of incident to meet SLA.
• Proactively monitor all service request.
• Vendor management and case escalations.
• Commitment to complete tasks on time and teamwork

Minimum Diploma in Computer engineering or equivalent.

4+ years of experiences on the domain

Palo Alto certifications preferred.

Cisco certifications preferred.

ITIL Certification preferred.

AWS cloud Practitioner certification is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

Must have AWS cloud knowledge. Work experience in cloud is an added advantage.

Articulate in excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure.

Strong knowledge on Cisco routing and switching.

Strong knowledge on F5 LTM.

Should be well versed in Firewall and Network concepts.

Able to quickly learn and adapt in any technology.

Good knowledge on SSL off-loading concepts.
