We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to architect, implement, and maintain RPA-powered automated solutions across the organization using n8n as the core workflow platform. This role will partner with multiple business units to transform manual processes into scalable, maintainable automation pipelines.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain automated workflows in n8n to orchestrate RPA processes for business units including operations, finance, marketing, and customer support
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze process requirements, conceptualize technical solutions, and translate business needs into scalable automation
• Create, test, and optimize API integrations, webhook triggers, and database connections for seamless multi-system process automation
• Develop, document, and maintain custom n8n nodes to extend platform capabilities where off-the-shelf solutions are insufficient
• Deploy, monitor, and support n8n instances (cloud/on-prem) for high availability and performance optimization, leveraging Docker and version control (Git) best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance workflow reliability, troubleshoot failures, and rapidly iterate on automation improvements
• Develop and maintain process documentation, runbooks, and end-user guides for implemented automations
• Ensure that all workflows adhere to organizational security, privacy, and compliance standards, including GDPR and PDPA where applicable
• Stay current with advances in n8n features, RPA approaches, and best practices; proactively suggest improvements and new automation opportunities

What Makes You A Great Fit

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years' experience in data engineering, workflow automation, or RPA, preferably in a cross-functional operational context

Technical Expertise

• Advanced proficiency with n8n workflow automation platform, including custom node development and complex integrations
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Fluency in scripting languages such as JavaScript (Node.js), Python, or similar for custom automations
• Familiarity with RPA concepts and workflow orchestration across heterogeneous systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment (e.g., AWS), and version control platforms (Git)
• Knowledge of security best practices, data privacy regulations, and audit mechanisms
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail in building and maintaining robust automations
