Investment and Financing Director - Data Centre

- Develop and continuously update the company's ex-China investment and financing strategy, ensuring alignment with overall corporate strategic objectives.
- Lead and execute various financing projects, including but not limited to: project financing, structured financing, equity financing, and debt financing.
- Oversee financial due diligence, valuation, modelling, and transaction negotiations for overseas data center asset or platform acquisitions, mergers, and joint ventures.
- Build financial models, conduct detailed investment return analysis, and prepare investment proposals to provide professional recommendations to the Investment Decision Committee.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with international financial institutions, investment banks, law firms, accounting firms, investors, and industry partners.
- Monitor and manage the company's foreign exchange and interest rate risks, developing and executing corresponding hedging strategies.
- Optimize the capital structure of overseas entities, manage liquidity, and ensure efficient working capital utilization.
- Collaborate closely with internal legal, finance, and other teams to ensure the smooth execution and integration of investment and financing projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field from a renowned university domestically or internationally. Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA are preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, with at least 5 years focused on cross-border investment and financing or project financing.
- Proven experience in the data centre, real estate (REITs), telecommunications, or energy sectors, with a successful track record of leading data center investment and financing projects.
- In-depth knowledge of end-to-end transaction processes, from initiation and structuring to negotiation and closing. Ability to analyze complex financial data and make well-founded judgments and recommendations.
- Prior experience at an international investment bank, private equity firm, international investment department of a large enterprise group, or top-tier consulting firm is preferred.
- Understanding of the business model and key performance indicators of the data center industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Fluency in Chinese & English (both written and spoken), with the ability to conduct business negotiations and review legal and financial documents.
