Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager, preferably with a background in Industrial Engineering and strong analytical abilities, to join our Workforce Efficiency and Standards team to lead and transform our labour standards management. This role is critical in driving productivity improvements and ensuring alignment between labour standards and budgeting processes across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and Manage Labour Model System: Design and implement a new Labour Model system, utilizing data analytics and industrial engineering principles to continuously improve standards and ensure seamless integration with existing workforce management and budgeting systems.
• Align Labour Standards with Financial Planning and Operational Budgeting: Partner with finance, HR, and operations to translate labour standards into actionable budgeting frameworks, develop predictive models for manpower and cost forecasting, and adjust standards based on market dynamics and operational efficiencies.
• Drive Continuous Productivity Improvements Through Data-Driven Initiatives: Lead a structured continuous improvement program to optimize labour productivity, identify gaps, and implement technology plans and processes improvement to drive measurable gains.
• Champion Cross-Functional Collaboration to Optimize Store-Level Manpower Productivity: Collaborate with store managers and operations teams to implement practical and measurable labour standards and incorporate frontline insights into standards refinement.
• Establish Rigorous Reporting, Metrics, and Governance: Define and track KPIs for manpower productivity, deliver regular reports to senior leadership, and lead governance forums to ensure ongoing alignment and improvements
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Operations Management or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, preferably in labour standards, manpower productivity, or operations management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel or similar software)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence decision-making.
• Has a passion for process improvement and efficiency
• Experience with labour standards systems or workforce management systems and process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) is highly desirable.
