Data Product Owner

MANDATE

• \tAccountable and responsible of the delivery of the share domain data assets to ensure accessibility of data needed for use cases (including data integration, acquisition, cleansing, harmonization and structuring in layers of data platform)

• \tWork closely with the Data factories, Domain PMO and use case Product Owners

• \tPrioritize roadmap/backlog in Agile delivery mode with the data factory engineer and API Center of Expertise

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Organization

• \tDefine shared data set and API roadmap. Prioritize according to use case needs with Use case Product Owner and data factory. The resulting data model must be agnostic of the use cases.

• \tAssemble large, complex data sets that meet functional business requirements.

• \tIdentify integration needs for further use cases data acquisition. Work with IT Data Custodian and Data factory to source the data

• \tMaintain an up-to-date shared data set (life cycle management)

• \tDefine and plan remediation and enhancement in run phase

Deliverables

• \tManage and prioritize the shared dataset backlog

• \tPrepare data for use cases by specifying governed Business Objects

• \tDocument these in Discovery

• \tCo-design analytics tools with use case Product Owner

• \tDefine and track key success metrics

• \tCreate test scenarios and supervise data validation with testing factory

• \tSelf-driven and comfortable to make appropriate decisions supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products across different use cases

Data-related technical skills

• \tStrong analytical skills

• \tA combination of data management and business knowledge to be able to translate the use case needs into data driven solutions

• \tAbility to build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, and dependency

Project management

• \tStrong Agile project management and organizational skills

• \tExperience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
