Data Platform Manager

Summary:

This role involves leading the design, implementation, and management of modern data platforms and advanced analytics capabilities. The consultant will drive the establishment of data architecture, governance, pipelines, and operational best practices to ensure high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full lifecycle of data platform projects-from planning to deployment.
• Design data pipelines, architecture, models, dashboards, and reports.
• Align project scope and timelines with business goals; manage risks and stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of best practices in data operations and project delivery.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate and manage both batch and streaming data.
• Act as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 6+ years in data platform project management and architecture.
• Proficient in Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, SQL, AWS Lake Formation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of Agile, REST APIs, and certifications like PMP or TOGAF preferred.
