- Design and implement scalable data architectures and pipelines.
- Build, optimize, and maintain data models to support advanced analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to define and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Propose and implement innovative approaches for data storage, processing, and governance.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to guarantee reliability and performance.
- Lead and mentor junior consultants in best practices for data engineering.
- Contribute to the definition of long-term data strategy within the organization.
ABOUT YOU
- Academic background: Engineering schools or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related fields.
- 7 to 10 years of proven experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Flink).
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, and cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD and data workflow orchestration (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance practices.
- You have the ability to synthesize complex problems and propose actionable solutions.
