Job Title- IT Analyst

Contract Duration- 4 Years

Work Location- Chai Chee Road

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Job Responsibilities
  • The Candidate will be responsible to ensure all the applications systems remain in good working order.
  • The Candidate is expected to take on support of new application systems when they become operational.
  • The Candidate will respond to production emergencies in a timely manner based on Client's service Level. This includes bringing up the server (in a crash) or system processes, fixing problems or finding workarounds.
  • The Candidate is expected to diligently perform routine checks and to escalate to the Project Manager should any anomaly be detected. The Candidate should show the initiative to alert and troubleshoot together with other system engineers, database administrator (DBA) and outsourced vendors.
  • The Candidate is expected to follow through every issue / problem to closure, and complete the necessary documentation as required by Client.
  • The Candidate will assist users and answer queries regarding the supported operational systems.
  • The Candidate is expected to interface with the helpdesk agents, end-users, integrated applications support teams and external vendors during application support and problem resolution.
  • The Candidate is expected to be on standby support on off-office-hours / weekends / public holidays when needed such as during scheduled maintenance, system crash or system upgrade exercise.
  • Besides application support, the Candidate is also expected to document changes/enhancements that arise from service requests. The Candidate will follow the Client's technical standards and update the necessary documentation.
  • The candidate shall report to the Project Manager in tracking and managing the project timelines and resources that he/she has been assigned to undertake.

Job Requirements
  • The Candidate shall possess at least a Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
  • The Candidate shall have at least FIVE (5) years of working experience in the IT or Infocomm industry, with exposure to end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC), system analysis and design, application development, and operational support and maintenance. Experience with project implementation in Singapore is preferred.
  • The Candidate shall have at least FIVE (5) years of experience and be proficient in designing, developing and maintaining web applications using Microsoft .NET and front-end technologies (i.e. ASP.NET, C#, HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX).
  • The Candidate shall have at least FIVE (5) years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server and be proficient in developing solutions which involve relational database schema design and writing optimized SQL queries/stored procedures on Microsoft SQL Server.
  • The Candidate shall have at least THREE (3) years of industrial working experience on application that running on Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP (LAMP) or Java.
  • The Candidate shall have at least TWO (2) years of experience and be proficient in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), including web services development and/or integration using REST based web services.
  • The Candidate shall have at least TWO (2) years of experience in handling bulk metadata and content ingestion, including file formats such as PDF, HTML, XML, MP3, MP4, JPG.
  • The Candidate shall have at least TWO (2) years of experience in image and media streaming technology.
  • The Candidate shall have work experience in batch scripting (i.e. Shell Script (.sh), Window Script (.bat)).
  • The Candidate shall have work experience in analytical tools, preferably Splunk.
  • The Candidate is preferred to have work experience in voice-to-text processing and related technologies.
  • The Candidate is preferred to have work experience in code quality and scanning (SAST) tools; e.g. Fortify, Nexus IQ and SonarQube.
  • The Candidate is preferred to have work experience with DevSecOps (i.e. SHIP-HATS).
  • The Candidate shall have at least TWO (2) years of experience and be proficient in :
  1. Requirements and impact analysis, including evaluating and recommending feasible technical implementations, assess new API methodologies for development.
  2. IT operational support, including incident management, defect tracking, source code version control, release management, deployment to Production etc; and
  3. Project management support, including maintaining issue log and change control records, documenting operational procedures/guides, coordinating with users etc.
  • The Candidate shall have a minimum of THREE (3) years of work experience in Singapore, and. should therefore be adequately equipped in understanding Singapore's industry practices and regulations.
