In the Radar Centre of Excellence, we are exploring and creating new capabilities for future radar

products leveraging innovative and cutting-edge technologies like digital twin, artificial intelligence and quantum computing.

Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and young engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be in touch with the latest multi-functions radar technology and you will be responsible for the study, development and test of Machine Learning (ML) models that could enhance capabilities of multi-functions radars.

To be successful in this role, curiosity for what is new, willingness to challenge the status quo, open-mindedness and out-of-the-box thinking are crucial. You should quickly learn and assess new techniques and technologies in order to decide whether to adopt, adapt or discard them. You also needs to be able to come up with new ideas, present them, challenge them and improve them continuously. You must possess deep, hands-on technical skills in radar and software.

• Exposed to AI algorithms applied to the Radar domain

• Eager to explore new concepts and technologies and be plunged into a creative, innovative and fast-paced environment

• Have proven dedication and willingness towards continuous improvement and learning new skills and technology

• Self-starter, with an ability to manage your own workload and meet your agreed objectives, whilst also contributing to the development and delivery of wider operational goals

Requirements:

• Graduated with a Master of Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or any related field

• Have a strong knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and design of Machine Learning (ML) models

• Master programming and scripting languages (Python)

• Have a deep understanding of foundational concepts in radar, mathematics, physics, science

• Able to creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

• Have the eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment

• Possess good communication skills and can interact with various stakeholders (scientists, engineers, customers)
