• Building AI platform for the company use
• Develop and deploy data architectures optimized for AI, ensuring seamless access to information from diverse sources
• Create, maintain, and manage a data virtualization layer to reduce data movement, enhance transparency, and strengthen control mechanisms.
• Work closely with platform engineering, analytics, and governance teams to produce secure, high-quality, and thoroughly documented data deliverables.

skills and requirements

• Bachelor degree in computer science, or a related field
• Solid background in managing end-to-end data engineering projects, from design to delivery.
• Expert user of Spark, Databricks, and other large-scale data processing solutions.
• Well-versed in real-time streaming tools such as Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, and Azure Event Hub.
• Practical experience with modern data storage approaches, including data lakes and lakehouses built on Hadoop, Delta Lake, Iceberg, or Microsoft OneLake.
• Comfortable working with data virtualization platforms to connect and manage information from multiple, varied sources.
• Strong coding skills in Python and SQL for data transformation, automation, and analysis.
• Familiar with workflow orchestration tools (like Apache Airflow) and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes.
