Summary

We are seeking an experienced Firewall Engineer (L2) to design, configure, and maintain enterprise firewall infrastructure, ensuring secure network access and compliance with security policies. The role requires expertise in firewall platforms such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point, as well as strong troubleshooting skills for complex security incidents.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage firewalls, including security rules, NAT, and VPNs.
• Perform firewall policy reviews, audits, and optimisation.
• Troubleshoot firewall-related connectivity and security issues.
• Implement intrusion prevention and application control policies.
• Manage site-to-site and remote access VPNs.
• Work with network and server teams to ensure security compliance.
• Document firewall configurations, changes, and incident reports.

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher in Networking, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years' hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of NAT, VPN setup, and firewall security policies.
• Experience with firewall troubleshooting and security incident response.
• Security certifications preferred.
• Experience in SIEM tools for log analysis, firewall clustering, high availability setups.
• Good to have certification on PCNSE, NSE4 or CCSA.
