  • Lead medium to large-scale project teams comprising internal and/or external resources to deliver defined programs or projects, often involving high complexity and significant organizational impact, either as independent initiatives or within broader program workstreams.
  • Take full ownership of project delivery, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and aligned with agreed cost, scope, schedule, and deliverables. Oversee the entire project lifecycle-from requirements gathering to design, development, testing, acceptance, training, documentation, and go-live-while adhering to standard Project Management frameworks and contributing to early planning, effort estimation, and team setup.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans outlining timelines, milestones, resource needs, and task dependencies, driving execution from project initiation through to closure.
  • Manage and lead project teams while cultivating a collaborative, transparent, and accountable work environment. Promote cross-functional teamwork and alignment with project objectives, and regularly communicate status, key decisions, risks, and metrics to all stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Ensure successful project delivery by achieving defined goals within budget and schedule, managing all phases of the lifecycle, and actively participating in pre-project activities such as scope definition, high-level planning, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with project sponsors and key stakeholders to lead strategic or high-priority initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Manage relationships across departments, vendors, and third-party partners, ensuring clear requirements, well-defined agreements, and timely execution.
  • Continuously track and monitor project performance to ensure seamless delivery. Proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, maintain a comprehensive issue log through resolution, and provide regular management reports and dashboards to support informed decision-making and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay current with industry trends, including regulatory updates, cybersecurity threats, and emerging technologies. Share key insights and risk mitigation strategies to enhance organizational resilience and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 8 years of experience managing IT projects in the financial services sector, particularly within the payments domain.
  • Proven technical knowledge and hands-on experience in managing corporate banking cross-border payments projects.
  • Strong background in handling full software development lifecycles using various methodologies, ensuring smooth and successful implementations.
  • Solid understanding of Project Management and Business Analysis best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with expertise in stakeholder engagement and relationship management on large-scale projects.
  • Exceptional skills in team leadership, collaboration, and influence across diverse groups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and presentation abilities.
  • Established track record of successful delivery management, ensuring projects are completed on schedule with high-quality results.
