In Group Technology, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our Data Centre environment within a highly regulated banking environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data center networking, automation, and security to support mission-critical financial applications.

Key Accountabilities

• \tDesign, deploy, and manage Cisco ACI and EVPN environments.

• \tAccountable for level 3 network support with 24x7 escalation

Job Responsibilities

• \tMaintain up-to-date network topology diagrams, runbooks, and change records.

• \tCollaborate with vendors (Cisco TAC, Service Providers) for escalations and advanced troubleshooting.

• \tPrepare audit reports and participate in risk assessments for network security.

• \tResponsible to organize meeting with various team internal or external and engage right team or person to deliver project on time

Job Requirements

• \tOver 8+ years of experience in supporting complex banking IT environment or equivalent, including 5+ years of experience in network implementation with a focus on Cisco ACI, especially in Multi-Site, Multi-Pod setup.

• \tExperience with Cisco and Arista products specially DCI technology Fabric Path, OTV, VXLAN, VPC+, MLAG

• \tStrong understanding of routing protocols such as PBR, OSPF, BGP, MPLS and EVPN

• \tBachelor's degree in engineering or computer science

• \tPython and linux shell scripting is an advantage

• \tCertifications such as CCIE or equivalent level in networking is an advantage

• Gather business and/or application requirements on the infrastructure to plan, design, install, test & implement systems in accordance with the specifications & service level.

• Aligned or enhanced ITSM/ITIL methodologies in daily operations e.g. Change, Incident, problem, release management & CMDB.

• Monitor & measure the performance & availability of systems proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve performance & service level availability.

• Respond promptly to incident, root cause analysis & provide temporary and/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.

• Implement service continuity measures, i.e., backup/restore procedures & disaster recovery plan, to ensure continuous operation of the business.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.

• Assist in preparation of proposals and solution presentations.

• Able to lead a team of network engineers (size).

• Evaluates internal & external business environment to develop long-term strategy for the unit/organization

• Applies business & financial knowledge to address business issues & drive the business.

• Establishes & promotes effective business operations across multiple countries &/or regions & coordinates appropriately with the broader global business

• Attain key certifications for partnership with key vendors.

Requirement:

• Degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a System Integration environment and/or implementing Network systems

• Familiar and experienced in implementing and configuring network products like routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls and more

• Strong familiarity with Cisco F5, Checkpoint and F5 load balancer is a plus

• Certification in Network products is a plus

• Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to explain technology from a customer perspective
