Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Data Architect to design and lead the development of enterprise data solutions that meet performance, scalability, and availability requirements. This role involves strategic planning, architectural leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge data architectures in alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze the existing data landscape, understand client requirements, and translate them into robust, scalable data architecture solutions.
• Lead architecture design sessions and guide teams in the configuration and development of data platforms.
• Recommend integration and development strategies for data warehouses and business intelligence systems.
• Define and drive the data architecture strategy and implementation roadmap.
• Serve as the primary authority for architectural decisions and technical solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging data technologies to improve scalability, automation, and performance.
• Participate in business development initiatives, including solution design and client meetings with the sales team.

Core Skills and Experience

• Experience: 10+ years in data engagements, focusing on data strategy, architecture, and implementations.
• Enterprise Architecture: Strong alignment of data architecture with business transformation projects. Expertise in:
  Data lifecycle management
  Canonical/logical data models
  Integration methodologies
  Business information models
  Regulatory and analytical reporting
• Data Migration: Strategy, planning, costing, execution, archival, and disposal.
• Master Data Management (MDM): Execution across multiple domains. Tools: Informatica MDM, Talend Data Fabric, Stibo PIM.
• Data Governance: Designing frameworks, models, and roadmaps for data governance.
• Design Methodologies: Normalized/De-normalized data models, ER models, Star schema, Inmon & Kimball methodologies.
• Database Expertise: Required - PostgreSQL, Oracle. Preferred - SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, Hive, Pig, Impala, MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, Snowflake.
• Architecture Tools: PowerDesigner, ArchiMate, Toad, ERWin.

Additional Technical Skills

• Programming & Scripting: MS SQL, PL/SQL, NoSQL, T-SQL, DAX, Shell Scripting, VBA.
• BI Tools: MS SSRS, Oracle Forms (6i, 9i, 10g), Intellimatch, MS Access.
• Web & Cloud Tools: SiteCore, AWS, WordPress, Google Analytics/GTM.
• Project & Process Tools: MS Project, MS Office, JIRA, rLean.
• Certifications (Preferred): TOGAF (Architecture), DAMA-DMBoK (Data Management).
