About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Center Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support the daily operations and maintenance of our data center facilities, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our infrastructure to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations and monitoring of data center facilities to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform basic equipment checks to maintain uptime of power, cooling, and server systems.
• Support physical installations, including cabling, racking, and decommissioning of equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and update inventory systems regularly.
• Respond to on-site incidents and escalate issues promptly as needed.
• Adhere to safety and security protocols within the data center environment.

Requirements

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Passionate about infrastructure, hardware, and hands-on technical work.
• Willingness to work in shift rotations, including weekends and nights.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to operational excellence.
• Ability to follow procedures and collaborate effectively within a team.
• No prior data center experience required - training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of IT hardware or networking concepts.
• Internship or project experience in tech operations or support roles.
• Familiarity with DCIM tools or ticketing systems.
