On the back of taking on exciting projects and a strong project pipeline, Amplitude is expanding their team at their Asia Headquarters in Singapore and is looking to fill multiple positions at the Principal, Senior and Engineer level of Power Systems Engineer to deliver power system planning, modelling and analysis, using industry leading tools such as PSCAD, PowerFactory and PSS/E, for exciting national and international projects.

These roles will provide technical engineering expertise and consulting services to Amplitude's clients and will be responsible for the delivery of system and technical studies associated with the transmission and distribution system and the connection of generation, storage and interconnectors to the transmission and distribution system. This will include, but not be limited to, the development of models, performance of the studies, the assessment and analysis of the results and preparation of reports and deliverables.

Technical and consulting engagements will include the following key areas and fields:

• Power Transmission and Distribution
• Power System Analysis and modelling
• Power Generation and Storage projects
• Micro grid and off-grid electricity networks
• "Hybrid" electricity networks
• HVDC and Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) projects
• Technical Due Diligence
• Strategic and Advisory Consulting

Job Requirements

You will have experience in systems studies, power generation and storage technologies in Asia and/or Australia; a university degree in Electrical/Electronic or Power Engineering, or equivalent and proficiency in using power system analysis tools and simulation packages.

You will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and inquisitive mind; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong autonomy and ability to work under pressure and support the team to deliver quality outcomes for our clients.
