Role:

Responsible for administering AIX and Red Hat Linux systems, with expertise in automation using Ansible and shell scripting.
Performs cyber risk assessments and ensures proper controls and monitoring are embedded in IT solutions.
Manages middleware platforms like IBM WAS, JBoss, and MQ, and supports system performance and availability.
Collaborates across teams, ensuring secure, scalable infrastructure with strong focus on compliance and automation.

Requirments:

• Proven experience as a Unix Administrator with a focus on AIX and Red Hat Linux administration.
• Conduct cyber risk assessment in support of technology initiatives to help identify IT related risk and determine appropriate controls to mitigate risks.
• Monitor, track, and manage risk mitigations and exceptions and ensure adequate monitoring capability is incorporated into solutions
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Ansible and shell scripting for automation and system management tasks.
• Experience with middleware platforms such as IBM WAS, JBoss, and MQ is highly desirable.
• Sound knowledge of configuration management and automation tools.
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools and techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or IBM Certified System Administrator - AIX.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies is a plus.
