Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR and Admin Operations Manager to lead and manage the human resources and administrative functions of our manufacturing facility in Jurong. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting business operations by driving HR strategies, ensuring compliance, and overseeing efficient administrative processes in a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources (60%)
- Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training & development, and offboarding
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with employment laws and company values
- Partner with department heads to support manpower planning, succession planning, and workforce development
- Manage payroll processing and coordinate with finance for timely and accurate payments
- Handle HR-related audits, MOM submissions, and ensure compliance with local employment regulations (e.g., CPF, IR8A, work passes, etc.)
- Foster a positive work culture and support employee engagement initiatives
Administrative Operations (40%)
- Lead and manage general office administration including facilities, security, office supplies, and maintenance
- Oversee company insurance, vehicle management, and vendor contracts
- Manage renewal and tracking of licenses, permits, and documentation required for plant operations
- Support and coordinate internal communications and office events
- Supervise administrative staff and ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 8 years of experience in HR and administrative roles
- Strong understanding of Singapore employment laws, HR practices, and MOM requirements
- Prior experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on, resourceful, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
