Main Responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for developing and maintaining digital solutions from front to back end, from POC to deployment and maintenance.

Understand Business Requirements:

• Understand customer business, end users' activities, expectations, constraints, and opportunities.
• Understand Alstom products, practices, and applicable regulations.
• Produce functional and technical requirements and participate in technical workshops with program management, business/technical analysts to translate new opportunities into full lifecycle product components.

Design the Solution:

• Design strategy and roadmap that aligns with business requirements and Alstom strategy.
• Enable product development through proof-of-concept and partner technologies.
• Support business proposal development.
• Participate in agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment.
• Architect and provide guidance on building scalable solutions optimized for speed and scale.
• Stay up to date on new technologies and proactively propose innovative ideas for products and projects.

Lead and Participate in Development:

• Full-Stack Development: As a full-stack developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications, handling both front-end and back-end tasks using frameworks like Spring Boot and other relevant technologies.
• Backend Development: Implement server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Frontend Development: Work with front-end technologies to create dynamic, responsive user interfaces.
• Database Management: Manage complex queries and ensure data integrity and security.
• System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless system integration.
• Code Review & Optimization: Conduct regular code reviews and optimize existing code for better performance and maintainability.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software issues.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation to support development processes.
• Lead the extended development team once the POC and MVP are approved, guiding them through to the final product that will be scaled worldwide.
• Mentor junior team members, providing expertise and guidance.

Contribute to Innovation Strategy:

• Recommend adoption of new technologies and applications to optimize solutions.
• Scout and test new solutions available on the market.

Main Required Competences:

Educational Requirements:

• Mandatory: Engineering or Master's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
• Desirable: UX/UI expertise, experience in digital architecture, and various programming languages.

Experience:

• Mandatory:
  10 years in IT and/or digital companies or software.
  Strong full-stack experience in web and mobile applications.
  End-to-end digital product development experience (design, deployment, support).
  Experience with Typescript, ReactQuery, NextJS, Tailwind CSS, Shadcn, Radix, React Hook Form.
  Experience in DevOps, including Docker and Ansible.
  Experience with Git and release management.
  Experience with Azure environment.
  Strong experience in agile practices.
  Experience working with remote teams.
  Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Desirable:
  Start-up experience.
  Microservice architecture experience.
  Building large-scale software applications.
  Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
  Expertise in ReactJS, Angular, Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Vue.js.
  Debugging and optimization skills.
  Experience in unit/integration testing.
