Job Summary:

We seek for a Senior Trade Finance Application Manager / Delivery Manager to support the CCS Department, which stands for "Cash management, and Corporate banking Services".

Mandatory Skill-set:
  • A minimum of 8 years relevant Application Management, Delivery Management or Project Management experience
  • Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical education
  • Certification as a plus: PMP, PRINCE 2, Agile ACP or CSM, CBAP or equivalent.

Primary skills:
  • Application management: Experience in aligning business goals with IT solutions and proven expertise to strategize evolution of IT solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong experience of stakeholder management, including leading workshops, conducting interviews, and facilitating discussions with both business and technical teams.
  • Project management: Ability to define and manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes. Proven project management skills with experience leading and delivering small to medium projects on time, within budget using delivery methodologies such as Agile (Scrum) or Waterfall.
  • Risk & Change Management: Experience in risk management and change management, with the ability to manage project risks and changes effectively.
  • Software Engineering: Deep understanding of SDLC phases, software development best practices, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and quality assurance.
  • Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in Agile environments.
  • Application support: Proficiency in managing application support activities, good knowledge of incident management, problem management and technical troubleshooting practices.

Secondary skills:
  • Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of international trade & commodity finance domain or banking domain is a plus.
  • Process Modelling: Expertise in process mapping, workflow analysis, proficiency in business process modeling and workflow design, using standard modelling languages like UML, or BPMN.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in banking and finance industries is a plus.

Technical skills:
  • Event-Driven Messaging: Fundamental knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ or WebSphere MQ. Including understanding of pub/sub patterns, message queues and event streaming. Experience in collaborating on designing workflows that use asynchronous messaging is a plus.
  • Process Modeling and Documentation tools: Expertise in creating workflows and process diagrams using tools such as BPMN, Visio or Draw.IO.
  • Project Management Tools: proficiency in using project management software like MS Project is an advantage.
  • Database Query and Analysis: Fundamental knowledge in using SQL statements in any RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, etc.)., and fundamental SQL DML skills that enables basic application configurations.
  • API Knowledge: Understanding of APIs including how to read API documentation, perform API testing using tools like Postman, and analyze integration points.
  • Test Automation: Basic knowledge of automation testing frameworks for validating business requirements using tools like Cucumber, Citrus, and X-ray for Jira.
  • Development experience: Prior software engineering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Business needs analysis: Review and study business needs with Sponsors / Product Owners, making sure business needs are clear and well communicated to the Team.
  • Arbitration and prioritization: Create the condition to decide in case of arbitration / prioritization required across different needs and Projects.
  • Backlog Management: Manage and organize Backlog (JIRA), making sure all tickets well structured, all required information present, all sub-tasks listed, sprint scope defined, status of ticket / sub-tasks is up-to date.
  • Team coordination: Manage and coordinate daily team activities, organize & facilitate Team meetings.
  • Project Management: Implement project management processes (e.g. governance, planning, estimation, resources allocation, quality assurance, risks & issues management, etc.).
  • Execution, planning and control: Overall planning, execution, and control of all projects related to WWIL and CBIIL evolution.
  • Stakeholder management: Engage / report to key stakeholders on overall applications evolution and projects execution (e.g. planning, execution, risks / issues, etc.).
  • Documentation: Ensure applications documentation and projects documentation are in place.
  • Application support: Organize applications support processes and activities (e.g. L1/ L2/ L3 support, System Health checks, Security checks, Access Control reviews, BCP / DRP, facilitate internal and external audits, etc.).
  • Skills management: Support Team Head in identifying Team's skills improvements and required trainings.
