Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Supporting Banking Applications (Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, Trading applications)
  • Good understanding of the Capital Markets Domain and Exposure to Capital Market FO/BO systems and the trade life cycle, including financial products (Treasury, FX, Bonds, Credit, IRD).
  • Experience with IT applications handling valuation, reconciliations, payments and confirmations.
  • Proven experience in technical proficiency with strong skills in SQL
  • High-level proficiency in Java, SQL, scripting languages (e.g., Python), and experience with a trade capture system
  • SLA & KPI management, client communication & interaction
  • Predictive analysis, consulting, escalation management
  • Strong knowledge in XML, PL/SQL, MQ, CFT and Control-M
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management).
  • Knowledge of monitoring solutions (E.g Splunk,ITRS Geneos, Elastic Search)

Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement, in coordination with the build team, the needed application monitoring.
  • Supervise and monitor daily and monthly chains and handle user requests by working closely with the project, infrastructure and production teams.
  • Support overnight batches which take place during the Singapore Morning and early afternoon time to ensure that problems are swiftly analysed and resolved to minimise downtime.
  • Process and issue daily, weekly, and monthly reports on data quality of the risk chain, with the activity being more intense during the monthly run.
  • Incidents and Requests management (business users and other IT teams)
  • Provide L3 application support to business users (traders, risk managers, market risk monitoring operators, back-office and middle-office analysts, market data administrators,...)
  • Analyse and manage incidents, problems, and requests.
  • Problem management and continuous improvement
  • Prepare and maintain a knowledge base for each application within the team's scope, in coordination with the build team and the operations team.
  • Collaborate with the build team to assess the priority of the problem and follow up on its resolution, contributing to the definition of a long-term solution as needed.
  • Provide non-functional requirements to the build team to implement monitoring as code whenever available.
  • The Support Analyst should have a proactive mindset in security, incident prevention measures, productivity, and global improvement of service quality.
  • Candidate should have a strong appetite for the capital market functional business
