about the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for hands-on Java server-side coding to build and maintain real-time trading systems for various asset classes. The position involves full-stack development, primarily utilizing the Spring framework for server-side operations and ReactJS for front-end web development. You will also participate in peer code reviews, write automated tests, and handle some system integration and infrastructure tasks. This is an opportunity to work in a flexible Agile environment, contributing to an in-house built system.

skills and Experience Required

• Over 10 years of experience in Java development, specifically focusing on server-side architecture and implementation.
• Strong knowledge and at least 5 years of experience with the Spring framework.
• Proficiency in designing, developing, securing, and testing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with front-end development using ReactJS or other popular JavaScript frameworks.
• Comfortable using Maven for build automation, Git for version control, and Bitbucket for code repository management.
• Experience with relational databases, particularly Oracle, including schema design and SQL optimization.
• Ability to write automated tests using Python, including experience with testing frameworks.
• Should be server-side specialists with foundational front-end knowledge and a willingness to learn, or have worked on both front-end and server-side development.
