Homeone is a trusted service provider in Singapore, operating multiple consumer-facing websites in regulated sectors. As part of our digital modernisation strategy, we are seeking a skilled WordPress specialist to lead a project focused on improving website performance and implementing customer communication automation.

Project Scope - Phase 1: WordPress Migration & Optimisation

You will be responsible for auditing, migrating, and optimising several existing WordPress websites currently hosted on DigitalOcean. The target platform is Google Cloud (Compute Engine), with a preference for clean deployments using Bitnami or a custom LEMP/LAMP stack.

Key responsibilities:

• Audit current WordPress installations for speed, bloat, and performance issues
• Migrate each website to an optimised Google Cloud instance
• Configure Cloudflare for edge caching, HTTPS, and DNS management
• Remove unnecessary plugins/themes and implement best practice configurations
• Improve Core Web Vitals (TTFB, LCP, CLS, FID) through caching and code optimisation
• Set up SSL via Let's Encrypt or Cloudflare
• Preserve SEO integrity with appropriate redirects, meta configurations, and sitemaps
• Deliver pre- and post-migration performance reports (GTmetrix, PSI, or WebPageTest)

Project Scope - Phase 2: Communication Automation & CRM Integration

You will also lead the setup and integration of a centralised messaging system using WhatsApp Cloud API and Respond.io, with downstream CRM integration.

Key responsibilities:

1. Transition from a basic WhatsApp Business account to the official WhatsApp Cloud API (Meta-hosted)
2. Configure Respond.io for centralised team-based messaging and automation
3. Set up intelligent routing, canned responses, and simple chatbot workflows
4. Integrate messaging data with a CRM (e.g. Zoho, HubSpot, or custom)
5. Ensure seamless connectivity between websites, forms, messaging, and CRM records

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in WordPress migration and performance optimisation
• Hands-on proficiency with Google Cloud (GCE, DNS, SSL, firewall configuration)
• Familiarity with Cloudflare (Page Rules, CDN, WAF, caching)
• Understanding of server performance (NGINX or Apache, PHP tuning, MySQL optimisation)
• Experience with WhatsApp Cloud API and Respond.io (or equivalent platforms)
• Ability to integrate CRMs and third-party APIs (Zapier, webhooks, custom endpoints)
• Working knowledge of technical SEO and performance auditing tools
