Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance Android applications for cryptocurrency trading at scale
  • Drive the end-to-end Android software development lifecycle (SDLC), from system architecture and design to deployment and continuous improvement
  • Set technical direction and coding standards for the Android engineering team, ensuring code quality and best practices
  • Mentor and guide a team of Android engineers through technical challenges, code reviews, and career growth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineering Leads (Frontend, Backend, iOS) to define roadmaps and implement key features
  • Identify and resolve complex technical and performance issues, proactively driving solutions that scale
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, evaluating and integrating new technologies to enhance product capabilities and team efficiency
  • Champion a culture of experimentation, rapid iteration, and continuous user feedback to guide product evolution
  • Oversee release processes and ensure reliability, security, and scalability of Android applications

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in managing or mentoring Android engineers in a high-paced engineering environment
  • Expert-level proficiency in Java & Kotlin, with a deep understanding of Android frameworks, performance optimization, and app architecture
  • Strong technical decision-making and problem-solving skills; ability to make trade-offs in design and execution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across teams and stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and performance monitoring tools
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Fluency in both Korean and English
