WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
Application Delivery
- Delivery of prioritized works, in supporting new products roll-out initiative.
- Managing the prioritization and execution of tasks in various enterprise applications (Case360, CIS, FPR, LEAP).
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable BPM and Document Management application solutions to optimize business processes and information management.
- Proactively manage quality standards across the entire development landscape, including the local team, AIA offshore development centers, and external vendors.
IT Risk & Security
- No overdue items in completion of management actions to address audit findings.
- Timely remediation for any vulnerabilities reported within the Standard timeline.
- Timely raise exception request to cover all the vulnerabilities that cannot be remediated with Standard timeline and obtain approval before due date.
- Zero delay for all critical, high, and medium risks mitigation and acceptance within stipulated timeframe.
Other Responsibilities and Duties
- Accountable to the duty assigned by supervisor to meet operational and/or other requirements.
- Align technical solutions with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Analyze the impact of technology on business processes and propose optimization strategies.
- Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions that maximize the return on technology investments.
- Ensure that the work done by the department colleagues are aligned to corporate responsibilities (e.g. Fair Dealing).
- Ensures there are no major risk audit comments and achieve audit rating of Needs Minor Improvement or above.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- University Degree in IT or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in delivering IT solutions to businesses using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot Microservices and BPM/Workflow tools.
- Proven ability to manage and collaborate with internal and external teams, including local or offshore personnel and service providers.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in Java/J2EE, Business Process Management (BPM) or workflow systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of insurance processes and business domain.
- Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as Java, J2EE (Spring Framework), and Spring Boot microservices.
- Experience with application servers and tools such as JBoss EAP application servers, JBoss Drools rules engine, and Apache web server.
- Possesses Database knowledge in MS SQL Server and stored procedures.
- Experience working with BPM/Workflow systems, preferably in OpenText Case360, Software AG BPM, and Microsoft Logic Apps/PowerApps.
- Skilled in Cloud computing: Microsoft Azure platform, Designing and deployment using Dockers & AKS, and Azure functions.
- Additional programming skills (a plus) in Python, C#, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with web development technologies such as AngularJS & jQuery (Kendo UI) and JSP.
