Role Overview

We're hiring a Junior (or Fresh Grad) Mobile App Developer (Android) to join our team.

As a member of our team, you'll have end-to-end ownership of development, from ideation to production, and the autonomy to shape the direction of our products. You'll work on building robust, scalable, and maintainable mobile applications that empowers our users in their day-to day operations. This is an opportunity to learn the full life cycle of not just mobile applications but also the entire journey from ideation to deliveries of various types of projects.

Responsibilities

• Obsessed with bringing the best UI/UX experience to users.
• Able to empathise the pain points of users.
• A sharp eye for detail, able to notice the smallest design discrepancies
• Develop mobile app applications.
• Integrating with backend systems.
• Conducting thorough quality and usability testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business impact.
• Build clean, reliable, and pragmatic software.

Requirements

• Experience in native Android development.
• Fluent with at least one of the following languages: Java/Kotlin.
• Understanding of common data structures and algorithms.
• Embrace agile development process including TDD, CI and Scrum.
• Passionate about mobile technology and building applications.
• (Nice to have) Some experience in using Firebase (Crashlytics, FCM, etc.)
• (Nice to have) Some experience working with a mainstream application database (SQLite, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• (Nice to have) Some experience with major cloud provider (AWS preferred)
• (Nice to have) Functional knowledge of React.
