Responsibilities:
  • Join a lean and focused team to building high performance systems to capture and process real-time data for trading environments
  • Use open source technologies to push the limits of latency sensitive backend systems
  • Integrate order management systems and execution management systems
  • Identify possible enhancements; design solutions and implement new trading applications in a clean, concise way that continues to decrease latency for greater execution edge
  • Build and maintain market data and transaction databases for research and analysis.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree graduates in computing related majors.
  • Prior hands-on and practical experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot is essential for this role, with prior engineering internship experience in financial market, preferably in a fast-paced cross-border payment environment.
  • Understanding of real-time risk, concurrent programming, scalable and high availability distributed systems.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adopt agile methodologies.
  • A strong sense of ownership and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to drive projects and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, reading and writing skills (business-level proficiency) in both English and Chinese due to the need to liase with China-based product team and translate Chinese language interfaced platforms and product development plans into international versions.
