Senior / Principal R&D Software Engineer - Medical Robotic System

Our client is looking for an experienced software engineer to develop and integrate advanced software solutions for next-generation medical robotic systems. You'll work across the full development cycle-from architecture and implementation to testing and validation-ensuring quality, performance, and usability meet medical-grade standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop real-time software and 2D/3D visual interfaces for robotic systems
• Collaborate with hardware and algorithm teams to integrate sensors, drivers, and motion control
• Support testing, documentation, and regulatory compliance
• Lead software development activities across cross-functional and global teams
• Contribute to CI/CD and quality assurance efforts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proficient in 3D/Computer Graphics, Object tracking/instrument tracking.
• Experience with QT/QML, graphics (2D/3D), and video streaming on Linux
• Background in UI/UX for technical systems; medical or robotics experience is a plus
• Familiar with Photoshop, image processing, and real-time data workflows
