Presently we have a Job Opening for a Java with C++ Software Developer position

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years' relevant experience in object-oriented software development;

• Extensive experience in analysing requirements, designing, development and delivering complex enterprise applications in Java/JEE, web programming on UNIX / LINUX and Windows environment;

• Good knowledge and experience in C++ on Windows and/or Embedded (e.g. Linux) platforms;

• Experience in Spring Framework and Spring Boot;

• Experience in multi-threading, socket programming and serial communication;

• Added advantage if candidate is familiar with one or more of the following technologies:

i) Three-tier software architecture

ii) Virtualization Technologies (such as hypervisors or containers)

iii) Database programming such as SQL and DAO, and relevant experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2

iv) Message Queues and/or Solace

v) Software Modernization, Containerization, Microservices

vi) Cloud Computing, Kubernetes & Dockers, AWS Services like Amazon ECS Fargate, AWS RDS & Lambda

vii) Secure Communications (e.g. FTPS, HTTPS, etc.).

viii) Angular

Job Responsibilities

• Requirements gathering;

• Design, implementation and testing of the software;

• Preparation and submission of deliverables throughout the software development lifecycles such as Business Rules, Software Requirement Specifications, Software Architecture Document, Design Specification, Interface Specifications, Source Codes, Testing Specification, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Training Manual and other documents as required in the standard adopted by the Authority
