Our ideal candidate is a professional with hands-on experience with high-throughput, scalable, distributed systems in production, who can demonstrate excellent organization, strong problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior C# Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to expand our platform by designing and developing new RESTful APIs and backend microservices. You will also have the chance to optimize and improve the performance of the platform, ensuring the highest quality with unit tests, and participating in integration test design. Collaboration with the product team on requirements is also a key part of this role.

Experience :

• Professional software development experience.
• Expert knowledge of .NET Core and C#.
• Strong understanding of RESTful web services and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in multi-threaded application development and async programming.
• Experience with queue engines like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Working experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with software engineering best practices (unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD).
• Hands-on experience utilizing cloud platforms to develop scalable and reliable applications, leveraging the power of cloud services for enhanced performance and flexibility.
• A team player who thrives in cross-functional environments, collaborating closely with product team, and stakeholders.
• Willingness to actively engage in discussions, contribute insights and align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Written and verbal fluency in English is required.

Bonus points

If you have hands-on experience with highly loaded, mission-critical, scalable distributed systems in production, experience with cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure), or experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Istio (or any other service mesh) in production, you get bonus points! Exposure to the communications or messaging domains is also an advantage.
