As part of the Talent Acquisition (TA) organisation, a Strategic Sourcer builds and executes all candidate generation strategies in partnership with TA and hiring managers. With on eye on best-in-class sourcing practices, you will have the opportunity to partner across teams to attract the best talent the industry has to offer. Responsibilities:
  • You will need to identify, engage, and qualify some of the best minds out there.
  • Direct Sourcing of candidates based on designated functional areas
  • Act as key point of contact for interested candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Be the market expert within industry space and provide regular, relevant reporting on talent landscaping, competitor analysis and resourcing statistics.
  • Innovation is the key along with researching and identify new ways of reaching candidates.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to outreach methods, challenge current methods of engaging with talent and set high expectations around diversity of candidate funnel and candidate slates.
  • Maintaining timely and accurate information on all candidates' interactions in the database
  • Work closely with internal partners including Talent Branding and TA Pathways team on campaigns and initiatives to increase diversity and brand awareness in the market

Proactive Sourcing & Outreach (Passive Talent)
  • Creation and execution of candidate outreach projects as assigned
  • Proactively pipelining talent and creating pre-qualified candida talent pools in line with Equinix workforce plan
  • Drive conversion from passive to active by positive presenting Equinix in the market
  • Outline Equinix market position, and build external candidates' knowledge of opportunity fit, level, and compensation structure
  • Be authentic with external talent and make exploring opportunities with Equinix both now and in the future

Requirements
  • Extensive Talent Acquisition Sourcing experience, preferably in Sales and Marketing roles.
  • Experience in research or pure sourcing, gained within a sophisticated and fast paced environment
  • In-depth knowledge of the tech talent market with focus on APAC based roles and experience recruiting in a highly driven market
  • Strong communication skills, excellent relationship building skills and eagerness to succeed
  • Thrive in working with business leaders and have confidence taking insight to the business, and to challenge to status quo
  • Able to speak Japanese and Korean to handle candidates from Japan and Korea
  • In-depth knowledge of the APAC talent market
  • You will thrive in working with dynamic environment and should be comfortable taking insight to the stakeholders, and to challenge to status quo
  • Bachelor's preferred
