We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our HR team. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who is eager to learn and grow within the field of human resources. As a HRBP, you will support senior HRBPs and business leaders in aligning HR strategies with organizational goals, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and passionate about supporting employees and driving positive workplace culture. If you have a strong foundation in HR principles and are looking to develop your skills in talent management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness, this role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist HR Manager in implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives within APAC regions
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs, onboarding processes, and workforce planning.
  • Partner with the recruitment team to coordinate hiring efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process by preparing materials, scheduling orientations, and facilitating introductions for new hires.
  • Provide administrative support in addressing employee concerns, inquiries, or grievances under the guidance of HR Manager.
  • Assist in documenting and tracking employee issues, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
  • Help facilitate performance review (MBO) cycles by organizing timelines, distributing forms, and tracking completion.
  • Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating development programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system(I-Career)
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Support HRBPs in analyzing key HR metrics such as turnover rates, absenteeism, and employee engagement surveys.
  • Assist in organize training sessions and workshops for employees on topics such as leadership development, diversity, and compliance.
  • Track participation and gather feedback to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Assist in communication efforts during organizational changes, ensuring employees are informed and engaged.
  • Assist with liaison with Japan HQ for all HR related activities


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Eager to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptable and open to feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in human resources, preferably in an HR coordinator, assistant, or generalist role.
  • Basic understanding of HR principles, employment law, and best practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in Business Japanese Language (JLPT N1) is required to liaise with Japan Headquarters, Business Partners, etc. for effective communication, collaboration, etc.
