Job Description:

Design Engineering Software (DES) division of Keysight is a leader in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and empowers advanced electronic design for communications, automotive, quantum, aerospace, big data, and AI/ML. We are looking for PhD or Master graduates in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science to join a great team of software developers. This position involves working on a variety of aspects of software engineering, such as development of new algorithms and new features, architectural improvement, refactoring, and code optimization. It provides an opportunity to learn, innovate, and grow in a technical industrial environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the research and development of Advanced Design System (ADS) product
• Enhance and develop customer focused ADS High Speed Digital (HSD), analog and RF/MW simulation flows for new algorithms, new features, functionalities and usability
• Implement behavioral and device models for circuits and communications systems
• Contribute to continuous improvements in software architecture with code refactor and optimization
• Test and debug EDA software

Qualifications:

Requirements:

PhD or Master in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields and with 1-2 years relevant experience

Qualified candidates need to have knowledge and passion in:

• Develop production software using C++, Qt, and Python
• Algorithms and data structures
• Electronic Circuit Theory
• High Speed Digital (HSD), Analog, RF/MW Circuit Design
• Analog and digital signal processing
• How to use a circuit simulator for designing electronic circuits and system

Nice to have the knowledge and experience:

• High speed digital design and standards, Signal/Power integrity
• Electronic circuit simulation techniques
• Multi-threaded high-performance programming
• Software development toolset (IDE, graphical and numerical libraries, performance and memory usage profilers, etc.)
• Agile software development methodology and practice
