The Applications Developer & IT Support Officer works closely with the members of the IT Development Department to come up with solutions with traditional programming as well as low code tools. The officer will also assist in the School's IT support tasks like troubleshooting of issues in school devices, account creation and exam venue preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT team members and departmental stakeholders to define, design, and create new features, applications and workflows using low-code platform and automation workflow tools like PowerApps and Power Automate.

• Work with IT team members to maintain and enhance existing custom web applications, low code apps and automated workflows.

• Conduct full lifecycle analysis, including requirements, activities, and design of IT solutions.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.

• Maintain and update documentation for IT solutions.

• Provide technical helpdesk support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.

• Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, or in-person and log incidents in the ticketing system.

• Provide support in software installation and upgrades, user laptop backups and upgrades.

• Manage equipment setups for user laptops, printers, computer labs and exam venues.

• Assist in the setup and support of user accounts, permissions, and access rights.

• Assist in yearly PDLP rollout and student PLD support tasks.

• Support Active Directory and Microsoft account creation tasks and maintain scripts for these tasks.

Requirements:

• Experience with low-code platform and automation workflow tools like PowerApps and Power Automate.

• Experience with ASP.NET / VB.NET development.

• Experience with MS SQL.

• Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration. E.g. M365 User admin, Intune.

• Experience with basic hardware, software and network troubleshooting.

• Basic experience in data backup and computer setup.
