To be the key interface between Human Capital and the line and partnering the line in executing the organization's People strategy.
The Job
Manpower Management
• Work with Senior HR Business Partner to develop the short and long term human capital pipeline using forecast/budget to ensure that there is pro-active placement of manpower resources by anticipating and identifying resource needs ahead of time.
• In collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team in sourcing, selecting, securing and onboarding of candidates through the review of staff requisition proposals, prioritization of critical open positions for hiring, job re-design and capability needs analysis, candidate selection and effective onboarding
• Review staff requisition proposals from respective division for short term staffing requirements and make recommendations to Hiring Manager/Head of Department to optimize resource plans after undertaking careful analysis of the productivity requirements of the Division/Department
• Prepare and maintain budget which include manpower composition, skills and experience in order to conduct analysis and make recommendations for manpower redeployment or shortages to address business needs.
• Analyze results of the exit interview reports to prepare qualitative and quantitative analysis reports to Management on a periodic basis to help them make sound people decisions.
Employee Engagement
• Conduct employee New Joiner Briefing (introductory session) for new employees (all levels)
• Partner with the Department Heads and Culture & Communication HR Team to deliver initiatives to shape overall organizational climate in the divisions/departments
Talent Management
• Work with the Talent Management COE to pro-actively manage the career development and progression of identified talents under the Career Roadmap and Talent Management frameworks.
• Work with the various COEs to develop initiatives to retain, engage and motivate the identified talents in the divisions/departments
• Actively work with Line Manager to update Career Book
• Be the sounding board and trusted advisor to Line Managers to evaluate and advise the line on talent management decisions
General Role
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns / risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Our Requirements
• Tertiary education in HR Management or related discipline is preferred
• Possess at least 3 years of HR-related experience
• Good knowledge of employment trends and industry best practices
• Experience in facilitating at least 2-3 phases of an employee life cycle (e.g. recruitment, onboarding, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
• Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint. Experience with analytics tools will be an advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to build and cultivate work relationships with various stakeholders.
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
