About the Role:

We are looking for a UI/UX Lead to drive the user experience and design strategy for our ecosystem of interconnected web/app products. You will be responsible for leading the design process, ensuring intuitive and high-quality user experiences across all digital touchpoints. You will also be responsible for stringing experiences across our various personas involving a myriad of products and services. As part of the core product development team, you will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into elegant, user-friendly designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the UI/UX design strategy and execution for our products, ensuring consistency, usability, and a seamless user experience.

• Translate abstract ideas and evolving requirements into wireframes, low/high-fidelity prototypes, and interactive mockups.

• Conduct rapid user research, usability testing, and gather stakeholder feedback to iterate designs quickly.

• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs within fast-paced development cycles.

• Establish lightweight design systems and reusable UI components that enable quick adaptation and scalability.

• Experiment with emerging UX/UI trends, tools, and interaction models to explore new design possibilities.

• Balance aesthetics with usability, ensuring that even experimental designs provide intuitive user experiences.

• Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices, even in high-speed development cycles.

• Document UX learnings, usability insights, and design rationales to inform future iterations and refinements.

• Work within an agile, fail-fast, learn-fast environment to quickly adapt designs based on technical feasibility and user needs.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.

• Strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of UX principles and interaction design, ideally with experience in rapid prototyping, experimental design, and agile UX/UI processes.

• Experience with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.).

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a user-centered mindset.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in agile development environments is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing for enterprise or complex digital ecosystems.

• Background in working with DevSecOps teams to integrate security into the design process.

• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance standards (CWV) across our web applications and mobile applications.
