Summary of the position:

\tThe Payroll and Operations Specialist is a key member of the HR team who will report to the Compensation & Benefits Manager.

\tHe/She will be responsible for processing the monthly payroll & accounting entries, benefits administration and ensuring data accuracy in the HRIS system.

\tHe/she will review HR policy and ensure day-to-day handling of HR matters are compliant with the Bank's guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Main responsibilities:

\t\t1. Payroll, Benefits Administration and Operations

\tSupport HR operations in managing end-to-end payroll and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll.

\tManage employee benefits programs relating to health insurance, claims, leaves etc. Maintain accurate benefits record and ensure timely processing of enrolments, changes and terminations.

\tCoordinate and manage timely submission of all mandatory surveys from government and regulatory bodies. Prepare and submit monthly reports including headcounts for validation.

\tProcess and follow up on all government related claims such as NS, childcare, maternity, paternity claims.

\tProvide advice on HR policies, procedures and address payroll and benefits related queries.

\t\t2. Project Management

\tAssist with the execution of global, regional and local HR projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with project timeline and the Bank's goals/objectives.

• \tOther duties as assigned.

3. Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities

• \tComply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

• \tMaintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role.

• \tComplete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competency.

4. Requirements

\tBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Accounting related field.

\tAt least 2 years' hands on experience in HR payroll and benefits administration

\tStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data, conduct benchmarking studies, analyze market trends and make data-driven recommendations.

\tGood knowledge of employment laws, regulations and HR best practices.

\tPositive mindset with a passion for driving change, continuous improvement, and staying ahead of industry trends.

\tAbility to prioritize, work under pressure, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

\tExcellent written and communication skills.
