As an Application Engineer , you will partner with Sales and Customers to support FEC process activities and improvement.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Perform characterization study on new products and document the results in customer presentations for marketing purposes
• Presentation of products capability and performance to management and customers
• Provide on-site new process installations (Beta Site Evaluation) at customers for new products de-veloped
• Provide training to customers and applicators
• Support Functional Electronic Coatings (FEC) business in the Far East by processing samples for customers, evaluations/qualifications and conducting lab scale experiments to troubleshoot cus-tomer problems
• Responsible to ensure the FEC Laboratory cleanliness and maintenance through practicing good housekeeping methods.
• Ensure work time is recorded and uploaded into the SAP platform for all projects completed and in-hand.
• Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Responsibilities: Safety remains our number 1 priority. Making HSE as an integral part of all activities. The successful candidate must agree to comply with our in-ternal HSE & QS policy and other relevant local regulations.
• Other jobs / tasks assigned by the Application Manager and Business Manager
• Travel Requirements : 30% of travel is required

Skills You Bring:

• Degree in Chemistry or equivalent. Masters or PHD in chemistry can be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in the related function /industry.
• Good knowledge of electrochemistry and surface finishing technology
• Good command in English.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidate should be proactive, highly motivated, goal-oriented and customer-oriented person
• Good communication skills, resilience, good reporting
• Excellent analytical thinking, able to work under minimum supervision and independently, at the same time a highly committed team player.
