Just After Midnight is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions to automate the setup and management of cloud resources
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for quick and reliable code deployment across various environments
• Migration Customers to AWS from other cloud providers and on premise environments
• Modernise Customers on AWS, moving from a Monolithic Architecture to Microservices Architecture
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and security in cloud environments (Primarily AWS but also Azure)
• Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline development and operations processes
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
• Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices and tools across the organization

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software development or DevOps roles
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (primarily AWS & Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure concepts
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Knowledge of database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing
• Relevant certifications (AWS Certified SA/ DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, etc.)
