Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Documentation

  • Prepare comprehensive Test Plans, Testing Artifacts, and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) based on functional specifications and business requirement documents.
  • Ensure complete test coverage aligned with project scope, regulatory controls, and data quality standards.

EDW & Data Warehouse Testing

  • Analyze and interpret data mapping documents provided by clients to design validation approaches and build EDW load scripts.
  • Perform testing of Financial DataMarts and Enterprise Data Warehouses built on Teradata FSLDM platforms.
  • Validate end-to-end data flows, transformations, and reconciliation across upstream and downstream systems.

Test Execution & Defect Management

  • Execute test activities including:
    • Test execution
    • Capturing and analyzing test results
    • Raising, tracking, and managing defects through closure
  • Ensure timely defect triage, resolution follow-ups, and quality governance.

AML Compliance & Transaction Monitoring

  • Investigate and analyze suspicious transactions and activities to support compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure test scenarios incorporate AML risk controls and compliance validation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Design Support

  • Develop Technical Functional Specifications and Design Documents through workshops and meetings with:
    • Business Analysts
    • Data Modelers
    • Downstream Users
    • BAU Support Teams
  • Support requirement clarifications and ensure testing aligns with business intent.

Testing Types & Quality Assurance

  • Perform a wide range of testing activities including:
    • Functional Testing
    • Regression Testing
    • Unit Testing
    • Integration Testing
    • Performance Testing
    • Sanity Testing
    • Usability Testing
  • Validate product functionality and ensure high standards of data accuracy, integrity, and quality.

Automation & Continuous Integration

  • Identify regression test suites and implement automation scripts as required for improved efficiency and performance.
  • Establish and promote Continuous Integration (CI) practices and QA standards for the product lifecycle.

Test Management Tools & Delivery Reporting

  • Execute and manage test cases using JIRA, ensuring timely status updates to stakeholders and clients.
  • Ensure successful delivery through structured reporting, closure documentation, and sign-off processes.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong experience in EDW / Data Warehouse Testing
  • Hands-on knowledge of Teradata FSLDM and Financial DataMart validation
  • Expertise in Test Planning, RTM, Defect Lifecycle Management
  • Exposure to AML compliance, suspicious transaction analysis
  • Proficiency with JIRA test execution and reporting
  • Experience with regression automation and CI-driven QA practices
