Job Summary
This role supports core banking projects through UAT preparation, and defect management; It requires strong analytical skills, effective stakeholder collaboration, troubleshooting ability.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in consumer banking-related projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and multitask effectively;
• Hands-on experience conducting UAT and manual testing in a regulated banking environment.
• Strong understanding of banking processes, controls, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with defect management tools such as JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Analyse user requirements and enhancement requests.
• Plan, design, and execute UAT and manual test cases for banking web applications.
• Design comprehensive test scenarios based on business and functional requirements.
• Log, track, manage, and close system defects using JIRA, with clear reproduction steps.
• Perform regression testing to validate fixes and ensure overall release stability.
• Document test results and provide regular updates on testing progress and timelines.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Act as a liaison to resolve outstanding issues prior to reaching the UAT sign-off stage.
