Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist (IT) to support our internal hiring needs, with a strong focus on sourcing and headhunting IT professionals. This role plays a critical part in building a strong pipeline of technical talent to support the company's business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively source, screen, and engage IT candidates across various roles (e.g. project managers, business analysts, UIUX designers, software engineers, architects, data, cloud, cybersecurity, etc.)
  • Conduct active headhunting via LinkedIn, job portals, professional networks, and referrals
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding coordination
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring priorities
  • Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future IT hiring needs
  • Conduct initial candidate interviews and assess technical role fit
  • Coordinate interviews and follow up with candidates and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data and reports in the ATS or internal trackers
  • Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment campaigns when required
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process

Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a strong focus on IT hiring
  • Prior headhunting or agency recruitment experience is highly preferred
  • Good understanding of IT roles, technologies, and skillsets
  • Strong sourcing skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple hiring requirements simultaneously

Nice to Have
  • Experience hiring for tech consulting, system integrators, or government / enterprise IT projects
  • Exposure to both permanent and contract staffing
  • Familiarity with HR systems or ATS platforms
