Role Overview

We are looking for a software engineer to join our engineering team. This is a dynamic opportunity with growth and learning opportunities. You will be a part of the Software Engineering team and collaborate closely with teammates from the rest of the technology and product stack.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive logging and metrics strategies to support operational excellence and continuous platform improvement.
• Instrument critical user workflows and system components to capture actionable insights into usage patterns, performance bottlenecks, and system health.
• Ensure consistent logging standards across distributed services and microservices.

Key Accountabilities with measurable outcomes:

• Improved system observability, Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) / Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)
• Increased platform stability through early identification of high risk workflows and recurring defects.

Contribution to the Team level activities such as:

• Advocate for best practices in logging, monitoring, and observability across the engineering team.
• Contribute to shared standards, documentation, and tooling for metrics and error tracking.
• Fixing application bugs
• Development of minor product features
