Software Technician (C++)

Step into an exciting opportunity with a growing defense technology firm! We are looking for a Software Technician (C++) to maintain, design, develop and implement efficient C++ codes for various components and projects.

Responsibilities

This role involves collaborating with the software development team on the design and development of applications, as well as creating and managing the distribution of software across multiple platforms. Responsibilities include establishing user feedback channels to enhance application performance, executing debugging techniques and diagnostic checks, and optimizing software through regular upkeep, upgrades, and updates. The position also requires maintaining accurate records of software development activities and documenting processes, while staying current with changes in C++ standards and emerging trends in application development.

Requirements

You should hold a relevant diploma/degree in Computer Science or equivalent and have a minimum of 1 year of experience coding in C++. You will have strong knowledge of C++ programming language and object-oriented principles. You are experienced with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail would be crucial to the role and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
