Role Overview

The Technical Lead - Android will drive end-to-end mobileapplication architecture, lead engineering teams, and ensure scalable,high-quality Android solutions aligned with business and user experience goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design, architecture reviews, and solution planning.
• Guide engineers on best practices and development methodologies.
• Own sprint planning, delivery prioritisation, and release readiness.
• Ensure scalability, performance optimisation, and secure coding.
• Collaborate with designers, backend teams, product owners, and QA.
• Enable automation, CI/CD integration, and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure service stability.

Requirements

• 8+ years' experience in Android app development.
• Strong Kotlin/Java programming, MVVM/MVP patterns, REST API integration, Firebase, and Jetpack.
• Experience in mobile architecture leadership/mentoring.
• Familiarity with cloud services, CI/CD, mobile DevOps, testing frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder communication and solution ownership mindset.
