Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Java L3 Production Support Lead who can balance strong coding skills with deep production support expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Core Java, troubleshooting complex production issues, and implementing DevOps practices for stability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• \tLead L3 production support for critical applications, ensuring high availability and quick resolution of incidents.

• \tAnalyze and resolve complex issues in Java-based applications.

• \tCollaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize performance and reliability.

• \tImplement best practices for incident management and root cause analysis.

• \tAutomate recurring tasks and improve system efficiency through scripting and tools.

• \tOptimize SQL queries and database performance.

• \tMonitor and analyze application logs, system health, and job executions.

Required Skills:

• \tCore Java Concepts (OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading).

• \tSpring Framework (Spring Boot preferred).

• \tIncident Management Lifecycle - strong understanding of ITIL processes.

• \tSQL Query Optimization - ability to write complex queries, use indexes effectively.

• \tLinux/Unix Basics - log analysis, troubleshooting commands.

• \tShell Scripting - added advantage for automation.

• \tAutosys - job profiling and scheduling experience.

• \tDevOps Mindset - familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring tools, and production stability practices.

• \tExperience with caching (Redis or similar).

• \tExposure to cloud environments (AWS preferred).

• \tKnowledge of performance tuning for Java applications.
